[NERDug-list] "Other Cohorts" field in STAL (Colleague)

It’s very simple – and quite useful. IT or someone else with valcode table access would have to set up the cohorts for you on the VAL screen for INSTITUTION.COHORTS. Here’s an example:

Once that has been done, you can enter the cohort codes on the STAL screen in the Other Cohorts field.

Colleagues,

  I'm wondering if any of you use the "other cohorts" field on the STAL screen in Colleague to track students in cohorts.  If you are, how did your IT go about setting it up for you?  Where do you add additional cohort information once that table is established?  Any information would be helpful.  Thanks very much!
