I received the following from Jeff Rudski, a student at Muhlenberg College:
Seeking participants over the age of 18 to participate in a survey
examining how people define the interplay/boundaries of faith and
superstition. While parts of each domain are clearly unique, there are
places where the boundaries are fuzzy. I'm following this up by
examining Jewish beliefs (based upon the bible, traditional rituals, and
Trachtenberg's classic book on Jewish superstitions) along with
colloquial unsubstantiated, paranormal, or superstitious beliefs. The
survey was constructed with the input of two local rabbis. The research
has been approved by Muhlenberg College's Institutional Review Board.

/"The more deeply immersed I became in the thinking of the prophets, the
more powerfully it became clear to me what the lives of the prophets
sought to convey: that morally speaking there is no limit to the concern
one must feel for the suffering of human beings. It also became clear to
me that in regard to cruelties committed in the name of a free society,
some are guilty, all are responsible."/
