participants over the age of 18 to participate in a survey examining
how people define the interplay/boundaries of faith and superstition. </font><span
style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style=""> </span></span><span
style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 150%;" lang="EN">While
parts of each domain are clearly unique, there are places where the
boundaries are fuzzy. I’m following this up by examining Jewish beliefs
(based upon the bible, traditional rituals, and Trachtenberg’s classic
book on Jewish superstitions) along with colloquial unsubstantiated,
paranormal, or superstitious beliefs. The survey was constructed with
the input of two local rabbis. The research has been approved by
Muhlenberg College's Institutional Review Board. </span><span style=""
