For anyone who is interested in going on Birthright Israel with the
"Small and Mighty" Hillel campuses (we're one of them) this summer
please read the information below. There may also be a five college
trip as well this summer. In addition, I'm working on the possibility
of creating a trip particularly geared for small alternative liberal
arts colleges like Hampshire in the future, but that won't be happening
this year.
If you have any questions about Birthright, please contact me.
B'shalom,
Steve
Just a reminder that Birthright registration opens TODAY! I can promise
you that I am working hard to ensure that every student who applies
through Hillel for Birthright will get offered a spot this summer. But
in order to make that happen we need people to register and pay their
deposits. Here's how to register:
1. Go to http://www.smallandmighty.org
2. Click on the Taglit Birthright Israel: Hillel page
3. Click on the REGISTER NOW link
4. follow the instructions on the registration page (This is Hillel's
direct registration!)
5. Once the student completes Part I they will receive an e-mail when it
is time for them to complete part II.

"The more deeply immersed I became in the thinking of the prophets, the
more powerfully it became clear to me what the lives of the prophets
sought to convey: that morally speaking there is no limit to the concern
one must feel for the suffering of human beings. It also became clear to
me that in regard to cruelties committed in the name of a free society,
some are guilty, all are responsible."
