Join us for a fun & free Hanukkah Bash with Great Music!

UMass Hillel and the Jewish Student Union at UMass are pleased to present: 

The Middle-Eastern flavored Folk-Rock Confabulation: 

PHARAOH'S DAUGHTER.

Pharaoh's Daughter is a critically acclaimed, eclectic, Jewish music ensemble based in New York City.  Their music is influenced by the sounds of the Middle East, Africa, the Balkans, Turkey and Eastern Europe. Singer/songwriter and bandleader Basya Schechter has been described as boasting a deep, soulful voice with an expansive range whose control and dynamism is hypnotic.

This event is part of a community-wide Hanukkah Bash at UMass/ Amherst with holiday delicacies, dreidles and dancing.  HHB, (the Hillel House Band) will be opening for Pharaoh's Daughter.  All are welcome to join in this free cultural celebration.
