critically acclaimed, eclectic, Jewish music ensemble based in New York
City.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Their music is influenced by
the sounds of the Middle East, Africa, the Balkans, Turkey and Eastern Europe.
Singer/songwriter and bandleader Basya Schechter has been described as boasting
a deep, soulful voice with an expansive range whose control and dynamism is
hypnotic.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

at UMass/ Amherst with holiday delicacies, dreidles and dancing.<SPAN
