If you are interested in this fabulous scholarship this year, or are 
considering applying within the next few years, come to this meeting 
with Dean Shields from Vermont Law School.  The scholarship is for 
either a Master's in Environmental Law and Policy, or for a JD (a law 
degree), or for a combined JD/Masters.

President Lash has opened the door for Hampshire students to be 
considered for a full scholarship to Vermont Law School.This is a 
terrific opportunity; VLS is consistently ranked as having the country's 
top environmental law program! Interested candidates must act quickly to 
be considered this year. The internal Hampshire deadline is Monday, 
January 16, and the Vermont Law School deadline is February 1.Details below.

*Environmental Law Scholarship to Vermont Law School (VLS)*

*Eligibility:*

This scholarship is available for a Hampshire student or recent alum (up 
to 5 years out) with a demonstrated commitment to environmental change 
and a desire to pursue a degree from VLS.

*Options:*

A.3-Year JD or Joint JD/ Masters in Environmental Law and Policy Program 
Scholarship:

.Three year full-tuition scholarship to Vermont Law School for either 
program

.Inclusion in the Dean's Scholar program

.Inclusion in the international program experience with waived 
administrative fees

.Candidate Requirements:

-Demonstrated commitment to environmental issues and service through 
campus and/or community activities

-Excellent writing and critical thinking abilities

-Strong LSAT score

B. 1-Year Masters in Environmental Law and Policy (MELP) Program 
Scholarship:

. One year full-tuition scholarship for MELP-only degree program at 
Vermont Law School

.Inclusion in the Dean's Scholar program

.Candidate Requirements:

-Demonstrated commitment to environmental issues and service through 
campus and/or community activities

-Excellent writing and critical thinking abilities
