Asian Media, has there been anything more awesome in the entire history of
mankind?

While you're contemplating that, let me tell you what we're showing this week.

8:00-Genshiken Episodes 3+4
Last week, we saw Sasahara get welcomed into Genshiken, the "Society for the
Study of modern visual culture. AKA they're all complete otaku. We also met
Saki-san who can't believe the guy she's going out with has similarly geeky
interests and is doing her best to seduce him away from them. This week we join
Genshiken as the club goes to Comiket, a comic convention, and welcomes the
addition of a new member.

9:00-Kujibiki Unbalance Episode 1
Believe it or not, the creators of Genshiken actually made three episodes of the
fictional anime they were all obsessed with. I won't say much about it except,
mushrooms. So many mushrooms.

9:30-Tokyo Godfathers
One Christmas eve, three homeless people in Tokyo (a hobo, a transvestite, and a
run-away girl) find an abandoned baby left only with a note asking for it to be
taken care of. The next day, they begin to look for the child's parents with
many adventures along the way.

Phew, got that over with. Oh and by the way, as always, Asian Media is in the

8:00 Thursday Nights

Bring a friend or two, but do remember that giant mecha will not fit in the
lecture hall.
