An organizer from HAN inviting our network to collaborate with their
network to network with Black & Pink. Since we're still super formative
I figured it would make more sense to just forward her email to y'all
and anyone who is interested could contact EJ and join up with the group
going from HAN. Her email is ejn12 and you can read her original emails

Heyy
I've been seeing on facebook that you are starting up an awesome
Gender-Identity-Resource-Network. I wanna reach out to you about a
field trip with some HAN members to meet a Black and Pink organizer
named Lyla.
She would tell us how to get invovled with Black and Pink, which is an
organization that focuses on Queer prisoners. It seems like something
HAN and Grin could both really benefit from, and I think would be fun to
do together.
So I'm just copy pasting the email I sent to HAN:
Hey lovely folks.
I hope your week is going splendidly. So, someone had the cool idea of
trying to write to people in Prison. This reminded me of a really cool
group called "Black and Pink" (http://www.blackandpink.org/purpose/)
I got into contact with Lyla who is a great organizer, and she replied.
Here's what she says
*Can HAN folks (and anyone else) come to Food For Thought Books one day
on the week of the 16th, perhaps monday the 17th, and i can* *give
resources and info about how to go about writing to black and pink folks
in prison?*
What do people think? I'd love to get back to her relatively soon
Please reply to this email either way.
Let's..... NETWORK
Much love,
Emily Joyce
