Dear Potential Participant,

My name is Renina Jarmon and I am a graduate student at the University
of Maryland in the Department of Women Studies and I am conducting
research on Black women’s sexuality and I would like to interview you.

I am interested in interviewing women who self identify as Black, ages
18-40 years old who currently reside in the United States.

I will be asking you questions about how Black women conceive of their
sexuality, the impact of the media on Black women’s sexuality, and the
impact of social institutions such as church’s and schools on Black
women’s sexuality.

All of your responses will be confidential and you can opt out of the
project at any time.
