Hello hello Sisters,

I hope all you wonderful ladies are coming to the movie screening today at 3pm
at the cultural center. We are co-hosting this event with QIPOC and are really
excited to see you guys there.

Fire is the movie we plan to screen. It is about closeted homosexuality and the
repercussions of being outed within a conservative society. Set in India, this
film address the themes of religion, marital life, customs and traditional
gender roles and lesbianism. It holds powerful performances and an intricate
plot.

We will be following the screening by a discussion about the issues raised by
the film.

Come cuddle up, eat yummy food and watch a movie.
