New Leaf Meeting today 7-8pm roos rhode house

Hi everyone,

The meeting tonight (Wednesday) will feature Ned Phillip Jones, hampshire
alum and permaculturalist. Ned will be speaking about way to get involved
with Help Yourself, a nonprofit org in Northampton creating public access
food forests in Massachusetts. http://commongreen.weebly.com/ Ned can also
speak to on-campus projects including the greenwich forest garden and
converting lawn to meadows, plus opportunities for internships/work-study
through the Ecological Design and Inquiry Initiative (EDII).

The other part of the meeting will be planning for the November 29th
Environmental Div III Symposium and fundraiser for bagging bulk food from
mixed nuts to donate to Enlace de las Familias in Holyoke for Puerto Rican
families displaced by Hurricane Maria.

There will be plenty of dinner from Panda East!!! Bring your own bowl and
utensil if you can.
