The MGH Institute of Health Professions is a fully accredited college which
offers graduate level academic programs in healthcare. As part our
implementation we contracted with Datatel to develop customized workflows to
support clinical education placements. These workflows use aspects of the
Registration, Accounts Receivable and Core modules. We have identified the need
to support these workflows, as well as data mine and generate reports at an
organization view and have created the new position of Clinical Affiliations
Manager. The CAM will be a "module" leader for the workflows associated with

Position Posting:

The MGH Institute of Health Professions invites applications for the newly
created position of Clinical Affiliations Manager.  This position reports
directly to the Academic Dean and is responsible for the management of the
Institute's clinical affiliations information and workflow.

 

The Clinical Affiliations Manager will serve as the Datatel "module" leader for
data integrity, validity, work-flows across the Institute concerning clinical
affiliations and will coordinate academic program-specific workflows to assure
that information remain a viable resource for faculty, staff, and students.  The
successful candidate will also be responsible for workflows concerning
contracts, organizations, report generation, data mining and data integrity,
data entry standards, voucher processing and supporting program-specific
workflows concerning preceptors and clinical placements.

 

Qualifications include:

*     Bachelor's degree preferred

*     3 years relevant experience

*     2 years experience in a health care or higher education environment
preferred

*     Proficiency in database management

*     Experience with Datatel or another administrative higher education
software application strongly preferred.

 

Setting:  The MGH Institute of Health Professions, an independent graduate
school affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital, was founded in 1977 to
educate leaders in the health professions; it moved to its current home in the
historic Charlestown Navy Yard in 2002.  The Institute has over 80 regular
faculty and 600 students in nursing, physical therapy, communication sciences
and disorders, clinical investigation and medical imaging.

As an interdisciplinary graduate school, the Institute prepares skilled health
care specialists to become leaders in a dynamic and ever-changing global health
care environment.  The Institute is accredited by the New England Association of
Schools and Colleges, Inc., through its Commission on Institutions of Higher
Education.
