Book Arts Workshop Open House & General Membership Meeting

Come visit the Book Arts Workshop at Dartmouth College Library and learn
how the program has been used by the Preservation Department to develop
contacts with Alumni Relations.   Barb Sagraves, Preservation Librarian
at Dartmouth College, will present "Field of Dreams": An Alumni
Relations and Preservation Partnership".
After the presentation we'll open the floor to a meeting of the general
membership and discuss future agenda topics.  The group hasn't had a
planning meeting in some time so we look forward to hearing all your
ideas.

After lunch on your own the Book Arts Workshop will be open for a hands
on tour of the Letterpress Studio and Open Bindery.   Fun is promised
for all.

No registration or fee required but an RSVP would be appreciated for a
catering head count.

9:30-10:00 am Coffee & pastries
10:00 - 10:15 am Welcome & Introductions
10:15 - 10:45:  "Field of Dreams": An Alumni Relations and Preservation
Partnership, Barb Sagraves. Preservation Services Librarian, Dartmouth
College Library
10:45 - Noon:  General Membership meeting & Brainstorming, David Walls,
and Preservation Librarian, Yale University Noon - 1:30pm:  Lunch on
your own.  A list of restaurants will be provided at the meeting.
1:30 - 3:00pm:  Book Arts Workshop Open House.  Staff will be available
for a hands on tour of the Letterpress Studio and Open Bindery.

     Tindle Lounge is located in Thayer Dining Hall, which is behind
Collis Center/College Hall.  Collis Center/College Hall is on the corner
of Main St. and Wheelock St., opposite the Hanover Inn and the green.
Locate Collis, walk around it and you will find Thayer Dining Hall.
Tindle Lounge is just inside to the left.  If you attended the 2002
meeting it was in Tindle Hall.
