Dear Rachel,

I wanted to let you know that applications CLOSE IN JUST ONE WEEK for
the Eisendrath Legislative Assistant Fellowship [1] at the Religious
Action Center of Reform Judaism.

In describing her time as a Legislative Assistant, Deborah Swerdlow,
class of 2010-2011, said:

_"Working as an Eisendrath Legislative Assistant was THE BEST FIRST JOB.
I LEARNED EVERYTHING BY DOING -- understanding the ins and outs of
Congress, crafting advocacy strategy on important policy issues,
building coalitions and partnerships -- and I got to do it in a
SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT INFUSED WITH JEWISH VALUES."_

We're looking for young leaders who are passionate about living out
their Jewish values through social justice and public policy advocacy.

Do you know a college senior who fits this description? PLEASE FORWARD
THEM THIS EMAIL AND URGE THEM TO APPLY [2] TODAY!

L'Shalom,

Allison Grossman, Legislative Director

WHAT CURRENT LEGISLATIVE ASSISTANTS ARE SAYING ABOUT THE PROGRAM...

_"As a public policy and political science double major, I have found
this job to be a perfect fit for my interests! As a Legislative
Assistant, I have the unique opportunity to analyze bills, meet with
Congressional staffers, and develop my communication skills while
shaping the Reform Movement's response to current events." _- Jacob
Greenblatt

_"It's powerful to be part of the Jewish moral voice in Washington. From
participating in interfaith coalitions to teaching teens how to advocate
through a Jewish lens, we show how the religious community can help
bring about a more just world." - _Talia Kaplan
