Dear Rachel,

With the end of the calendar year quickly approaching, here at the
Religious Action Center we are looking forward to opportunities to
protect and advance social justice and civil rights in 2019.

Our EISENDRATH LEGISLATIVE ASSISTANTS [1] are critical to the success of
this work. We are currently accepting applications for the 2019-2020
class of LAs. As you often do, we hope you will help us find the best
candidates by FORWARDING THIS EMAIL TO COLLEGE SENIORS you think would
be a perfect fit for this fellowship. Please don't hesitate to reach out
if you have any questions.

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE ON FEBRUARY 8, 2019 [2].

L'Shalom,

Allison Grossman, Legislative Director

Apply to be an Eisendrath Legislative Assistant [4]:
Yearlong Policy & Social Justice Fellowship in the Nation's Capital!

The RAC's Eisendrath Legislative Assistants are part of a yearlong,
post-college fellowship at our office in Washington, D.C. Being an LA at
the RAC means getting involved and playing a pivotal role in our work:

 	* Leading legislative advocacy on a wide portfolio of issues such as
immigrant justice, LGBTQ equality, criminal justice reform, and gun
violence prevention
 	* Representing the RAC in diverse coalitions and with elected
officials on Capitol Hill
 	* Drafting advocacy communications materials and disseminating our
message to decision makers, partners, and Reform Jews
 	* Developing innovative social justice programming and educational
materials
 	* Planning and running weekend social justice conferences for teens
 	* Working with congregational and grassroots leaders across the Reform
Jewish Movement

 [5]
Application deadline: February 8, 2019

WHAT CURRENT LEGISLATIVE ASSISTANTS ARE SAYING ABOUT THE PROGRAM...

_"As a public policy and political science double major, I have found
this job to be a perfect fit for my interests! As a Legislative
Assistant, I have the unique opportunity to analyze bills, meet with
Congressional staffers, and develop my communication skills while
shaping the Reform Movement's response to current events." _- Jacob
Greenblatt

_"It's powerful to be part of the Jewish moral voice in Washington. From
participating in interfaith coalitions to teaching teens how to advocate
through a Jewish lens, we show how the religious community can help
bring about a more just world." - _Talia Kaplan
