Gail Hareven is a prominent Israeli writer and cultural figure, in
residence at Mount Holyoke as a Visiting Artist sponsored by the
Schusterman Foundation.Hareven is a distinguished author of five
novels, short story collections, and children's books. She is the
winner of the Sapir Prize for literature, among Israel's most
prestigious literary awards.In addition, Hareven is a journalist and
teacher of creative writing.
