[Jewish] Sulha Peace Project Will be touring this Week in Western Mass

Hi everyone!
One of my friends who has been very actively involved with Sulha ( a grassroots
organization, inspired by the indigenous process of mediation (“Sulha”), aims
to rebuild trust, restore dignity and move beyond the political agenda between
Israelies, Palestinians, Arabs, Jews and Muslims), will be touring the area
this week to show  a presentation and film about the wonderful things it has
done to bring dialogue and interaction between Israelies and Palestinains.

On August 26-28, 2008 the Sulha Peace Project organized the gathering of
thousands of Arabs, Jews, Israelis,Palestinians, secular and religious, young
and old together to share their pain, to dance, to pray, to learn about each
other, and ultimately to coexist for three days and three nights just a few
miles outside of Jerusalem.

1. Sulha Peace Project: Israel/Palestine Peace Event Film & Discussion
Where: Media Education Foundation, 60 Masonic St. in Northampton behind Woodstar
Cafe
When: Tuesday Jan 13th
Time: 7 -9 PM

This Tuesday, January 13th, Gabriel Meyer will be screening "On the Way to
Sulha" a short film which documents the grassroots Peace Movement in Israel.
This past summer over 5000 people attended, Israelis, Palestinians, Bedouins,
peacemakers, artists and educators both secular and religious were drawn
together to support co-existence. The deeply transformative gathering aim to
rebuild trust, restore dignity and move beyond the political agenda. You are
invited to both witness and join in this important process. Move info is

Evening will be a short film, question and answer and a short mini-Concert.

This is not a rally, but an educational experience.

musician, educator and peace activist Gabriel Mayer Halevy to the Pioneer

workshop
