[Jewish] Falsettos - musical with gay and Jewish themes opens in Noho this weekend.

"Falsettos" <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falsettos>, the Tony Award 
winning musical by William Finn and James Lapine , will be performed at 
the Academy of Music for six performances on Fridays through Sundays, 
May 1-3 and May 8-10 at The Academy of Music Theatre in Northampton, MA. 
Friday and Saturday evening performances are at 8PM. Sunday matinee 
performances are at 2PM.  PACE Theater is presenting this production 
directed by David Fried Oppenheim, co-director of PACE.

The play is about a gay man named Marvin and his ex-wife and lover and 
friends who plan a Bar Mitzvah for Marvin's son Jason as Marvin's 
partner faces the challenges of HIV (in the days when HIV was hardly known).
