Warm your body and your soul tonight at the Tavern at 7:30 with Kirtan.
Sponsored by the Spiritual Life Center.

Kirtan is a group practice from India of singing powerful, beautiful
chants set to simple melodies. These chants open our hearts to celebrate
the Divine within each of us. Through chanting, we tune in to our higher
selves. It is deep, joyous and easy. No singing background is needed.
All are welcome.

"The more deeply immersed I became in the thinking of the prophets, the
more powerfully it became clear to me what the lives of the prophets
sought to convey: that morally speaking there is no limit to the concern
one must feel for the suffering of human beings. It also became clear to
me that in regard to cruelties committed in the name of a free society,
some are guilty, all are responsible."

-Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel
