Just a reminder that this morning there will be a brief Jewish
meditation and chanting session from 8:15-8:45 AM in the Spiritual Life
Center in Donut 5 (use the door facing Donut 3 to enter).

This is a great way to start your day with some silent meditation and a
brief Jewish teaching to be used as a kavvanah/instruction for the
meditation, as well as some chanting. No knowledge of Hebrew, Judaism
or meditation is needed. Just bring yourself and any friends (they don't
have to be Jewish). Hope to see you tomorrow!

B'shalom,

Steve

PS Don't forget the afternoon mediation and chanting on Tuesdays from
3:45-4:45, lunch n'learn with me on Thursdays at noon in SAGA and Hebrew
lunch table on Tuesdays at noon too!

"The more deeply immersed I became in the thinking of the prophets, the
more powerfully it became clear to me what the lives of the prophets
sought to convey: that morally speaking there is no limit to the concern
one must feel for the suffering of human beings. It also became clear to
me that in regard to cruelties committed in the name of a free society,
some are guilty, all are responsible."

-Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel
