Interested in Yiddish theatre? Come out TOMORROW NIGHT and audition for The
Magic Mirror, a Division III play translated and directed by myself, to be
performed at the National Yiddish Book Center this November!

Originally staged in 1938 in Warsaw in Yiddish, The Magic Mirror (or, Hotzmakh's
Shpil) is a modernist fairytale/fable about poverty, justice and redemption.
Come one come all! Written by Yiddish poet and playwright Itzik Manger, “The
Magic Mirror” tells the tale of Hotzmakh, an impoverished Jewish peddler, and
his quest to rescue the virtuous orphan Mirele from the evil clutches of a
sorceress.

September 20, Red Barn, 7 PM (TOMORROW NIGHT!)

Questions? Comments? Send me an email!

Hope to see you all there!
