 Subject: Lipper Internship application deadline

We would like to remind you that the deadline is approaching for the Spring 2007
Lipper Internship Program at the Museum of Jewish Heritage--A Living Memorial to
the Holocaust.

The Lipper Internship Program is a semester-long paid internship opportunity for
college and graduate students from a variety of fields and backgrounds, from
universities throughout the Northeast. Interns participate in a ten-day
training course in New York City, conducted by Museum staff and scholars.
Following training, Interns return to their college campuses to work with
public middle and high school students in their communities. During the
semester each Intern conducts classroom visits to teach an introductory lesson
on the Holocaust, brings the classes to the Museum for tours, and then returns
to the classroom for a discussion about what the students have learned. Interns
receive a stipend for their work and are reimbursed for travel expenses.

The deadline to apply is November 1, 2006. For more information go to
www.mjhnyc.org or download an application at
http://www.mjhnyc.org/pdfs/Teach_Learn/Lipper_04.pdf. You may also contact us
directly at (646) 437-4303 or (646) 437-4273.

Cheers,
