UGANDAN JEWISH WOMAN to SPEAK at HILLEL HOUSE



            Rachel Namudosi Keki of the Abayudaya Jewish Community of Uganda
will present a talk entitled “Jewish Life in Uganda” on Friday, October 17,
at 8:00pm at the Hillel House located at 388 N. Pleasant Street in Amherst,
MA.



            Rachel Namudosi Keki, a 21 year old, will tell the inspiring
story of this courageous 600 member Jewish community (est. 1919) and their
struggle to maintain their Jewish identity in a largely Christian and Moslem
Uganda.

            This event is free and open to the public. It is being sponsored
by UMass Hillel, UMass Office of Jewish Affairs, and the UMass Jewish
Student Union.
