[HSU-CoordBoardInternal] CoordBoard Retreat: Date and time according to doodle.

That being said, we need to think more about how this retreat is going
to go exactly. To be honest, I think it isn't a great idea for us all
to just sit around and try to hash out these problems because we will
wind up having another meeting far too similar to any other CoordBoard
meeting where we waste time and argue rather than getting things done.
I also think that dealing with our meeting issues like structure and
facilitation are best done when we have met with some professionals
who can actually help us (like Stephen Butler and the UMass folks).
Thus, I think the issues to discuss at the retreat goes beyond what is
on the proposed agenda, and I think it is unrealistic for us to solve
all these issues in one meeting. If we try to make a meeting too long,
we will get restless and even less efficient. I was hoping to bring
this up at our CoordBoard meeting on Thursday (and am happy to discuss
it more then), but a number of people, myself included, went to
Josiah's office hours for us this past Friday and he had some helpful
things to say. First, I think we need to figure out what is really
wrong. We need to each come up with a list of what we want to improve
and get done at this or any other retreat. Then, we need to decide
together which of these things are most urgent to deal with. Then, we
need to deal with those things, and in my opinion, we need help to do
so. Having a time when Josiah or Stephen or UMass folks or anyone can
help to facilitate, keep us efficient, on track, and productive, and
maybe even give us suggestions would be infinitely helpful, in my
opinion. We clearly are unable to do this on our own, and an outside
perspective, and one with training and background in dealing with
groups, with students, with governance systems, with meetings, etc.
would be a benefit to all of us.
