How does this sound for the thank you note:

The CoordBoard of HSU would like to thank you for your participation in our
Town Meeting on Tuesday November, 19th 2013. Faculty and administration
play an integral part in the well-being of student community, and your
participation in our student forum has helped to bridge the gap between
students and the policies that directly impact their daily lives. Thank you
so much for considering the student voice, and taking the time to make us
feel heard and appreciated.

We hope to see you at Town Meetings in the future.
