Dear Colleague,

I am writing to let you know about an exciting summer opportunity for
motivated students. The New School’s Graduate Program in International
Affairs is offering a new seven-week study program on the United Nations
system. Unlike other UN study programs, some of which last as little as
a week, we offer a full term program based in New York City. Students
take an intensive class, participate in talks and meetings with UN
officials and professionals from other international organizations, tour
the UN and other international organizations, and explore connections
between local and international issues through social justice tours. An
additional optional component of the program includes internships or
practicums with an organization in or working alongside the UN system.
The program earns academic credits, though applicants are advised to
confirm their ability to transfer New School credits to their home
academic institution, and a non-credit option is also available.

Please forward the attached flyer to students you think might be
interested, or, direct them to the program’s website:

Thank you.
