Greetings from South America.

This is a friendly email to let you and your students know about the 
Spanish & Argentine Law

program in Buenos Aires, Argentina next summer.  The six week study 
abroad session, suitable for prelaw students, is intended for those 
planning on using Spanish in their careers, such as working in 
immigration, civil rights, family issues, international trade, and many 
other legal applications.

We courteously request that you pass this information to potentially 
interested students at Hampshire College.

Participants will study two semesters worth of Spanish plus participate 
in an Argentine Law seminar in Buenos Aires.  As the capital of 
Argentina, Buenos Aires is a hub for both local and national government 
and legal centers. Guest lectures from local attorneys, visits to 
important historical sites and magisterial offices will give you a 
well-rounded vision of both historical and contemporary Argentine law 
and legal struggles.

Proficiency in Spanish is not required, however we encourage students 
below intermediate level to come a few weeks early.

*Spanish & Argentine Law
Buenos Aires, Argentina, /May 26 - July 6,  2013/ *(six weeks) /Max 30 
students./

At this point we do not have the exact prices set, however we expect 
program cost (Spanish course, legal seminar and trips, volunteer 
placement, and administration fees) to be about $2,300 for the summer 
sesssion.

We will be accepting applications in a few weeks.
