Hello, all.

You're invited to a Law Lunch with Israeli human rights and peace activist
DAPHNA GOLAN-AGNON on Monday, November 14, from noon until one in the Dakin
Living Room. She will speak on “BREAKING THE CYCLE OF VIOLENCE IN THE MIDDLE
EAST.”

Golan-Agnon is a professor of human rights at Hebrew University, where she
directs the Human Rights Internship Program at the Minerva Center for Human
Rights, and she is a co-founder of B’Tselem, the Israeli Information Center for
Human Rights in the Occupied Territories. A feminist and activist, she was
instrumental in the movement to make torture illegal in Israel. Golan-Agnon
recently published "Next Year in Jerusalem: Everyday Life in a Divided Land,"
in which she describes her social justice work and the community of Jewish and
Palestinian human rights and peace activists.

Spread the word to your friends, and join us for lunch and stimulating
conversation.
