[Hamp-law] FILM SHOWING: Judgement at Nuremberg

The Hampshire Law Program is screening JUDGEMENT AT NUREMBERG, the 
powerful docu-drama about the international war crimes tribunals 
trying the Nazi leadership at the end of World War II, in the West 
Lecture Hall FPH at 8pm on Wednesday February 11. As the first 
broadly successful international trials for crimes aganist humanity, 
Nuremberg established the foundations for all subsequent trials 
involving war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity, including 
those for the ex-Yugoslavia and Rwanda.

Directed by Stanley Kramer in 1961, the film is a fictionalized 
account that stars Spencer Tracy, Burt Lancaster, Marlene Dietrich, 
Richard Widmark, William Shatner, Judy Garland and Montgomery Clift, 
among other big Hollywood names of the era.
