The week's events on the International Criminal Court Continue!


There is a panel discussion and open forum Thursday, November 7th titled "The 
International Criminal Court (ICC) and Human Rights" at 7:30pm in the West 
Lecture Hall in FPH. 
The panel will feature Lawrence Douglas, Associate Professor of Law 
Jurisprudence, and Social Thought at Amherst College, and the author of the 
recent book, "The Memory of Judgment: Making Law and History in the Trials of 
the Holocaust"; Kenneth Henley, Professor of Philosophy at Florida 
International University, whose current writing and research focus on the ICC; 
and Joydeep Sengupta, Outreach and Communications Associate for the Coalition 
for the ICC, a global network of non-governmental organizations that advocates 
for a fair, effective, and independent ICC. 
This should be a wonderful program! You are encouraged to come!

        
The next day, on Friday, there will be two workshops with the members of the 
panel. The first will be Friday, Nov. 8   9:00 a.m. in FPH 107, the second at 
10:30 a.m. in FPH 108.



Lester Mazor is willing to write evaluations for people who attend the panel
