*ISEP info session*
Come hear from students who have studied abroad in Japan, New Zealand,
and Ghana in this casual information session. Learn about what being
abroad is like, financing your studies, and ISEP opportunities in 42
countries.

*The Body of the Nation: Gender, Nationalism and Sexuality in Cuba*
A presentation by Abel Sierra, Hampshire's visiting scholar from Cuba

*Prague and Krakow Short-Term Course Info Session*
Students in Hampshire's short-term course in Prague and Krakow will have
the opportunity to spend 3 weeks in May/June studying the rich histories
and cultures of these two cities through seminars taught by local
specialists, visits to art and history museums, readings, and of course
lots of site visits. Enjoy a screening at this info session of an
animated short by Czech artist Ian Svankmajer.

SPECIAL INFORMATION
*Glimpse Correspondent Program*
Any student studying, volunteering, or working abroad for at least 10
weeks have the opportunity to have your travel writing and photography
published in a National Geographic sponsored publication, and get paid
for it! Applications to participate during Spring 2011 travel are due
November 28th.

*Freeman-ASIA Program*
The Freeman-ASIA Program, generously supported by the Freeman Foundation
and administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE), aims
to increase the number of U.S. undergraduates who study in East and
Southeast Asia by providing them with the information and financial
assistance they will need. Award amounts vary from up to $3,000 for a
summer program, up to $5,000 for a semester/quarter program, and up to
$7,000 for an academic year program.

*Gilman Scholarships for Study Abroad*
The Gilman Scholarship is an opportunity for US undergraduate students
to receive up to $5,000 toward study abroad program costs (including
tuition, airfaire, books, and local transportation). Students studying a
critical need language as part of their program, such as Arabic,
Chinese, Russian, or Korean, can receive up to an additional $3,000.
Students from diverse ethnic backgrounds, going to non-traditional
destinations or in a field of study traditionally underrepresented in
study abroad, or with disabilities are especially encouraged to apply.

*internXchange Summer Journalism in Berlin*
In the internXchange program, journalism students will have the
opportunity to study and practice journalism in Germany. The program
includes 6 weeks of seminars on the current political, social and
cultural state of Germany, excursions within the country with journalism
students from the former Soviet Union, and 5 weeks of internship with a
German newspaper, magazine, radio station or PR firm.
Advanced-intermediate German skills required. The application deadline
is January 31st, 2011.
