Making Study Abroad a Reality: A Workshop on Financing and Planning
12PM on Nov. 17th in the Merrill Living Room: Faye Gotlieb, a student 
recipient of the Gilman Scholarship last semester for study in Russia, 
along with GEO will be talking about making study abroad financially

Super 8 Filmmaking in Paris Info Session
Mon. 16 @ 5PM in the Brand Screening Room of the Film and Photo 
building: Interested in film? Professor Baba Hillman 
(bhillman at hampshire.edu) will present information on her course, Super 8 
Filmmaking in Paris: Geographies of Identity. This course combines 
intensive workshops in Super 8 filmmaking and film theory. The class 
includes workshops on cinematography, animation, and editing on Super 8 
film. Each student will shoot, process, edit, and complete a short Super 
8 film. Cameras and Super 8 editing facilities are provided. The course 
also includes studio visits with independent filmmakers, artists, and

Sienna School for Liberal Arts Tabling in the Dining Commons 
(11:30AM-1:30PM)
A representative from the Sienna School for Liberal Arts will be 
available to talk to students about their academic programs and 
internship opportunities in Sienna, Italy. SSLA offers studies in fine 
arts, art history, music, sociology, deaf studies, and Italian studies. 
Students can enroll for semester, summer, or January term courses.
