NEXT WEEK'S GEO EVENTS

Living Roots Representative On Campus
Info Table at Dining Commons
Wednesday, Sept 19 @ 11am-1pm
Living Routes programs are both academic and experiential. They
challenge students to grow on professional and personal levels. Programs
are taught by faculty with in-country experience and expertise across a
wide range of fields. Students and faculty together create a learning
community within Ecovillages - vibrant communities of individuals,
socially responsible businesses, and nonprofit advocacy and development
organizations. This remarkable educational environment facilitates
transformative intellectual development.

Chinese Autumn Moon Festival
Red Barn
Friday, Sept 21 @ 4-6pm
Hampshire's annual Autumn Moon Festival (a celebration of the Chinese
holiday) is happening soon, so mark your calendars! We'll have
performances of dance, singing, and traditional Chinese instruments,
along with some traditional holiday snacks. This year we are inviting
the Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School, which just opened
its doors this fall. Children from this school will be participating in
the performances. Other performers and participants will include
Hampshire international students from China, students who have studied
abroad in China, and students from the Hampshire Chinese language
courses. (These events will NOT include dinner.)
