Hi again,

I want to remind everyone to send code questions to this mailing list. I've been answering questions from several of you by private email and that's fine, but really there's no reason to be shy -- even the simplest questions will probably be shared by others, and besides, asking simple questions will give classmates the opportunity to *answer* them which, I've found as a teacher, is often the best way to deepen one's knowledge of these kinds of things. So it's a win-win if you ask a question and a classmate answers.

Also, I'm forwarding, below, an announcement for the latest issue of a free newsletter in the evolutionary computation field -- it's put out by ACM SIGEVO, for which I serve on the executive committee -- and some of you may find it interesting. It's not required reading but it's a nice glimpse into some cutting edge GP work, with pointers to other resources, etc.

Also btw the genetic_programming at yahoogroups.com list, through which this announcement came, may also be of interest to some of you.
