Hello Community Advocacy and Spiritual Life Friends,

You are warmly invited to be nourished by the music and insights of
Coracle - the duo of Cynthia Hughes and John Crockett - this coming
Tuesday, November 12 at 5 pm (conversation in Spiritual Life Center)
and 7 pm (concert in the Red Barn).

For millenia, humans have drawn inspiration from the voices of the
Earth: the music of whales and seals, birds and insects, wind and
forest. Cynthia and John explore this amazing world of musical
collaboration in conversation just after peer meditation circle
(meditation is 4:30 to 5; Coracle conversation is 5 to 6) and then
again in concert at 7.

Cynthia and John use celtic and original tunes, songs, and wildlife
recordings they have made (including the only known recordings of seal
song) to create a remarkable musical journey where the human, natural,
and contemplative meet. The open space of the Red Barn supports these
sounds beautifully.

Corcale was part of Sustainability and the Sacred this summer, moving
everyone with their simple and profound musical presence and
connections with sea animals and human creative heritage.

Please contact me or Liza (lmnSA at hampshire.edu) for more information.

May all beings benefit,
Susal
