Hello All,

I'm writing to ask you all to take notice of the YELLOW RESERVE TAPE
when reshelving books that are on reserve this semester. Books that are
on reserve have yellow tape with the word Reserve affixed above the
book's call number. This morning we found an Amherst book that is on
Hampshire reserve on the Amherst return shelf, and two Hampshire books
that are on reserve on the reshelving carts. All three books should have
been returned to the reserve shelves in call number order. Please do
believe the yellow reserve tape on 5 College books. If we do not own the
title and we do not choose to purchase a copy for our collection
Veronica will borrow a 5 College copy to put on Hampshire reserve. You
will notice that when you check in a 5C book that is on HC reserve you
will not be prompted to send the book back to its home library. The
Amherst book that I found on the return shelf this morning, and once
before, is Mohawk Interruptus. I hope to see less of this happening, but
if it continues I will be contacting the students who were working at
the time the book was returned.

Thanks for your help with this!

Suzanne
