Hello All,
Today FOUR books that had holds on them ended up on the reshelving
carts instead of the hold shelf. Of those 4, 3 were on hold for Bev
for reserve. Please, please, please watch the screen as you are
checking books in! When a name comes up in blue it means the book has
a hold on it for one of our patrons. Try to make an effort to catch
the name, jot it down on a green slip, put the slip in the book, and
put it on the hold shelf. Any book on hold for HC RESERVES or BEVERLY
HINDLE need to go to Bev to be put on reserve. It is important that
she get these books ASAP. If you miss the name, click on the item tab
(the one that looks like a book) and then look at the HOLD REQUESTS
line to find out who the book is on hold for.
Speaking of reserves, we found that earlier this week someone took a
book with a hold for the reserves patron out of the 5C delivery box
and shelved it in call number order with the reserves books, with out
it being processed by Bev. Please do not place books with reserve
holds directly onto the reserve shelf - Bev must process them and add
them to the course before they are able to circulate.
