[Circulation] CIRC NEWS AND REMINDERS

Hello All,

-Don't forget that the mandatory SCHEDULE MEETING is this Thursday, 9/16, at
5:30pm.  You will choose your shifts and we'll start the permanent fall
schedule on Friday.

-New this semester: On the wall outside of Technical Services is the World
Language Collection.  These items are denoted by red tape.  These items check
out as 3-Day reserves.

-We also have new DVDs on that wall too.  The empty cases are out there for
display.  Patrons need to get the accompanying CD from the Media Services
Office, which is open M - F, 8:30 - 4:30.

-The Add-Value Kiosk computer was finicky this weekend.  If it locks up and you
end up restarting it, the password is kept in the white binder near the phone
at the circ desk.  This binder has the library contact list on the top.  I'm
going to keep adding the kinds of things we had on the circ desk to it.

-One of the professors, Richard Aronson, has multiple copies of segments of the
DVD Unnatural Causes on reserve.  They are now interfiled with the other dvds,
and all titled Unnatural Causes.  If you need to pull one of these dvds, please
ask the student for the segment they need.  These titles are written on the
actual DVDs.  Just an FYI that because these DVDs are dubbed, they are in clear
jewel cases and look like CDs.

-Shelving: please do some!  When there are 2 students on some shelving should be
done.  A few carts are already marked that they are ready to go.
