Hi Everyone,
We're still finding that personal reserve books aren't being shelved
correctly. Please ignore the words A, An or The in a title, and shelve the
book under the next word in the title. Actually look at the full title -
don't shelve it under whatever word is in the biggest type on the spine.
Here's one of the books that was out of place: The Theory of Experiential
Education. It was shelved under Experiential when it should have been filed
under Theory.
Please keep up with the returns. It is not fair to procrastinate until the
end of your shift to do all of the returns, then run out of time and leave
all of them for your coworker. Check items in as they are returned so that
they don¹t build up, and definitely don¹t leave them for the next person in.
Also, now that the returns are coming in more steadily, expect to be
shelving at least a half a cart when your shift overlaps with another
worker. You shouldn¹t have to wait for Chris or I to say something, and I
thank the students who already take up carts on their own.
