Hi Everyone,

We have been warned by the campus administration that there are 
several Hampshire students who have identical names.  Therefore, it 
is of the utmost importance to pay attention when doing name 
searches. If you have 2 identical names, ask the patron for their 
middle initial to make sure you have the correct patron (besides 
paying attention to the patron type, i.e. HC...).

Students who are using carrels on the 2nd and 3rd floor have been 
notified that Please do not give Div III students stacks of green Due 
slips without actually seeing the books that they are putting the 
slips in.  If a Div III student tells you they have a bunch of books 
in their carrel that are checked out and they need Due slips, please 
ask them to bring the books down to verify that the books are in fact 
checked out.   Use the View a Patron Record function to see what is 
checked out to the patron.
