Hello Everyone,

Thank you for all your hard work this semester. I really appreciate
your willingness to work as a team and to cover each other's shifts
when needed. Here are some reminders about the end of the semester:

1. Paychecks
As mentioned in the Building Shutdown Procedure memo, you will need
to fill out paperwork in the Payroll Office if you want your Dec.
17th or 23rd paychecks mailed home. You will need to provide
postage as well. Please note that the Payroll Office will not accept
e-mail or phone requests for forwarding checks.

2. Timesheets
As crazy as it seems, timesheets will be due twice next week. The
regular pay period will end on this Saturday, Dec. 11. Those slips
will be submitted on Monday, Dec. 13. Timesheets for hours worked
during the week of the 13th will be due on Wednesday, Dec. 15, by
11a.m. Students working on that Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday will
need to fill out their timesheets ahead of time. Timesheets are due
so early so that the Payroll Office can cut student checks on
December 23 to end out the semester.

3. Last Day of Work
You are all required to work (or find subs) through midnight on
Wednesday, Dec. 15. The library will be open until 10p.m. on
Thursday, Dec. 16, and until 4:30p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17. Work is
optional, and encouraged if you will still be around. There will be
carts upon carts to be shelved, so we'll need all the help we can
get. You will need to let me know by Tuesday, Dec. 14, since
timesheets will need to be handed in early.

4. Jan Term / Spring
If you have not already done so, please indicate if you will be
available to work during JanTerm and the Spring semesters on the list
posted on the circulation bulletin board. If you're not sure about
JanTerm, please put maybe for now, and then you can tell me when you
know for sure.

Please contact me if you have questions about any information that is
listed here.
