[Asianmedia] Screening for 10-5-06

Hey folks,
Well, these week, I'm being sneaky and actually getting the screening
information out on time. I'd give you ample time to lie on the floor in shock,
but I should probably just cut to the chase and give you the whole story. It
all starts at 8PM with:

Shall We Dance? - An overworked Japanese accountant who feels lost in life and
is growing distant from his wife and daughter. One night on a whim, he signs up
for ballroom dance lessons and has a great time, but is too embarrassed to tell
anyone about it. It may be a little difficult though, considering how
suspicious his wife is getting over how unpredictable her predictable husband
is becoming...

Then at 10:15, we've got the next 3 episodes of Full Metal Alchemist. This week,
there's an epic confrontation between Ed and...Roy Mustang, the flame alchemist?
Then, as Ed and Al continue their search for the Philosopher's Stone, they find
out that it may have come into play during the war in Ishbal...

Exciting, huh? (Well, even if you don't think so, tough. Come show up anyway.)
:P As always we're in the WLH of FPH starting at 8PM on Thursday.

Oh, and one final note. A lot of you have been coming up to me, Tristan, and
Linnaea with requests for stuff to show. Which is great! Unfortunately though,
our memories aren't and we tend to forget the names of these cool movies. So
PLEASE, if you have a request for something you want to see at Asian Media,
send us an email (sar04, lkf05, or tba04 at hampshire.edu) and we'll be happy to
put it down on the list. That said, I'll also be taking down requests this week
before we start the movie, so please have some ready, because I'd love to hear
them.
