FIRST YELLOWBIKE WORK PARTY
Yellowbike is a community bike program on Hampshire Campus. We have lots
of bikes that we fix up, paint yellow, and release to the campus for
everyone to use. Every week we fix them because they need loving, after
getting so much use. We're going to start fixing them tomorrow!!!
*************************************
Tomorrow, Friday, September 10.
1:00 PM in the back room of the RCC, by the equipment room
I'll try to have snacks.
*************************************
OK, now the details:
***Come learn how to fix bikes.
***Come turn a wrench while hanging out with other bike-minded-people.
***Come meet people who love bikes, people who fix bikes, people who ride
bikes, and people who don't do any of those things yet but might like to.
We have lost lots of yellowbikes, so we're going to fix up the ones we
have, and start in on brand-new, right from the junk pile not-yet-yellow
bikes that i've been collecting all year.
At the end of the day, maybe 4:00, we'll release all the YBs that we fixed
to the campus. If we have enough bikes, we'll have a parade/mini critical
yellow mass or something fun.
So come between 1:00 and 4:00 on friday and it will be great.
yellowlove,
aaron
