2 EVENTS NOT TO BE MISSED THIS WEEK

4pm Monday May 3rd
East Lecture Hall
Extravagant Acts and Radical Moves
Peggy Shaw
reminisces on 20 years of Split Britches' history
on the map of queer, lesbian, women's theater
(and amazing links with Hampshire)

7pm Tuesday May 4th
Queer/Queering visions and lives
Peggy Shaw "at home" informally
at the Center for Feminisms, Enfield House

Peggy Shaw is an independent performance artist, painter and poet who believes
in new images, and rejects old ideas. She challenges established practices in
theatre, prisons, gender, relationships and humor. Her work is firmly rooted in
a queer feminist perspective, with an unceasing quest for global equality in
writing, spoken word and performance.
