The 1st Annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender People of Color  
Health Summit will be taking place from February 21st, 2008 through  
February 24th, 2008 in Albany, NY. PLEASE visit the website: www.

There will be an amazing all day Transgender Institute on Thursday,  
February 21st, 2008! Here is the description in lieu of your visit to  
the site:

Transgender Institute

The Transgender Institute will be held on Thursday, February 21,  
2007. It will be a full day program with two main sessions:
                                                                  
Morning Session 10 am -1 pm
                                                                  
Afternoon Session 2 pm - 5 pm

The Institute is designed to be an intensive experience whereby  
participants have an opportunity to build or increase skills in a  
specific area or discipline. Both theoretical and experiential  
perspectives are encouraged. Participants should have the opportunity  
to engage in theoretical discussions as well as interactive learning  
experiences. The preference is for abstracts addressing the  
conference tracks; however abstracts on other topics related to the  
transgender community are also welcomed.

When designing your presentation please plan an in-depth three hour  
session. You may include up to a four person panel for your session.
