Hey Folks-

I thought I would utilize the list serve for something a bit off subject, but
still important and relevant to our larger Western, MA community.  My friend
Lucy volunteers at Ludlow prison and is collecting books in an effort to revamp
the library for the folks over there.  The following is an e-mail with info

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to collect books to donate to Hampden County Correctional
Center's library.  The library was closed for a long time, and it
reopened just a few weeks ago.  The current library selection is pretty
limited--mostly consisting of outdated suspense novels.  Residents of
the center have been asking for books on culture, history, politics,
health, biographies, books in Spanish.  Pretty much all genres would be
useful though.  So, if you have any books lying around that you don't
need, please let me know!

Also, please pass this information on to anyone who might be able to
help out.
