The Aggressives explores the lives of six New York City masculine-
identified women of color who define themselves as "aggressives" and
who participate in predominantly African American lesbian drag balls.

Kinky Boots
Tuesday, Nov. 14, 7 p.m., Stonewall Center
A comedy inspired by the true story of a conservative men's footwear
factory in Northampton, Britain, which began producing shoes for
crossdressers in order to stay in business.

Boy I Am
Western Massachusetts Premier!
Thursday, Nov. 16, 7 p.m., 101 Campus Center, UMass
Sponsored with the Everywoman's Center
The increasingly visibility of female-to-male (FTM) transsexuals has
led to fears and misconceptions in some lesbian communities. Boy I Am
begins to promote a dialogue between the two groups through following
the lives of three young FTMs and through conversations with lesbian
activists. A discussion will follow the film. Co-sponsored with the
Men's Resource Center.

Transgender Teens
Friday, Nov. 17, 7 p.m.
Media Education Foundation (60 Masonic St., Northampton)
Sponsored with Generation Q
The story of two MTF teenagers: one has the support of her family and
the other is forced to fend for herself on the streets. A discussion
with trans teens will follow the film. Co-sponsored with the
Northampton Committee to Stop the War in Iraq.
