[RAICES] Juarez die-in at Amherst Center

Friends,

Don't forget tomorrow, Saturday May 1st, is the Juarez Die-in!  The
demonstration is only as effective as the number of people that attend; so
thank you in advance for spending an hour tomorrow at 12:30-1:30 to show
your solidarity for the women of Juarez.

To ensure we have 370 representative victims, both men and women will
participate in the die-in.  Please wear black!

ORDER OF EVENTS

12:30:  Die-In
**Meet at the green in front of converse (Amherst Center)
**The family members will speak
**Procession around the green
**EVERYONE will lie silent on the green for five minutes
**The die-in will finish with a poetry reading

The following events are optional:

1:30: Reception is Converse Lobby
**Enjoy yummy food and find out ways to get involved

3:00: Symposium in the Red Room
** Three family members from Justicia para Nuestras Hijas
** Macrina Cardenas, executive director of the Mexican Solidarity Network
 ** Juan Armando Rojas, professor at Amherst College and a renowned poet
from Ciudad Juárez.
