hey all,
as some of you might be aware of that there is a discussion going on around
the issue of student government on this campus. there is a meeting at 6.30pm
on wednesday in the conference room in the airport lounge about this issue
and the necessity, structure and power of a student governance body on this
campus..about two-three weeks ago i had fwded a document to some of you
regarding the whole controversy, i can do that again and any input would be
welcome...
also, if you have any ideas, suggestions or inputs please come to the
meeting and be a part of determining the structure of your govenrment...
its an open meeting so spread the word.. this meeting is also the first leg
of the many efforts to get the community involved in the issue. its an issue
related to student governance which the backbone of any democratic student
community and hence all of us should have a say in what our governance body
should be like. you will be getting an all community email regarding this
but i thought i should do my part by sending out this email to people i
know... any questions please free to contact me. also, hopefully the all
community email will answer your concerns...
i hope this letter made sense. it would be good have a lot of people at the
meeting. my apologies for any cross postings. tell your friends whom you
think might be intersted and please feel free to email me if need be for any
clarifications etc.
once again:
6.30PM, WEDNESDAY, CONFERENCE ROOM AIRPORT LOUNGE... MEETING TO TALK ABOUT
STUDENT GOVERNANCE ON THIS CAMPUS...
thanks for the patince of reading throught his letter...
take care
love and peace
